The Austin Blue Sox dropped a 2-1 first-round game to Elko Saturday at the Class B State Tournament in Glencoe.

The contest was originally scheduled for Thursday, but was moved to Saturday because of rain. Complete results were not reported as of press time.

Austin finishes their amateur baseball season 21-5 overall, while Elko finished the regular season 39-6.
