Vallorice F. Pearson
Vallorice F. Pearson died on June 26, 2009 in Melbourne, Fla.
She was born on April 20, 1927 in Ankeny, Iowa, the daughter of Alof and Pearl Pearson. Vallorice grew up on a family farm in Iowa and moved to Lyle in the 1940s. She lived in Lyle for many years, a loving daughter and companion of her mother, Pearl. She traveled a great deal, spending time in Colorado, Maryland, Florida and New York City. She enjoyed a variety of activities, from singing in the church choir, to reading great books, to winning at bingo. She had a joyful spirit and will be missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her devoted sister, Phyllis Gustafson; brother-in-law, Paul Gustafson; and many nieces, nephews and their children.
She was preceded by her beloved sisters and brother, Virginia Snyder, New York City, Alyce Hillmer, Colorado, and Frank Pearson, Minnesota.
A private interment will be in the Rose Creek Cemetery.
