Hilda Lee “Angel” Dekker, 62
Hilda Lee “Angel” Dekker, 62, of Austin, passed away at her home on July 4, 2009 after a long illness.
Born in Lewisberg, Ky. to John and Ruby Lee (Cobb) Brown on Oct. 20, 1946, Angel married Dale James Dekker on April 26, 1986 in Henderson, Ky. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing Yahtzee, cooking for everyone she knew and playing with her beloved dog, Tiny, who was with her until the end.
She is survived by her husband, Dale, Austin; four children, James Earl (Wilma) Arnold, Dunmor, Ky.; Teresa Ann Arnold, Austin; Barbara Lee Grube, Austin; Jason Thomas (Theresa) Dekker, Owatonna; three step children; nine grandchildren; nine step grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; one brother, Finis Brown, Hopkinsville, Ky.; one sister, Ethel (Jerry) Bruneault, Evansville, Ind.; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, six brothers and six sisters.
At Hilda’s request, no service will be held – just a family and friends’ picnic to be held at a later date. Worlein Funeral Home, Austin is in charge of arrangements.
