Josephine Anna Chrz, age 93, of Austin, died Thursday, June 11, 2009 at Sacred Heart Care Center.   
Josephine was born Jan. 14, 1916 in Moscow Township, Mower County, to Joseph and Anna (Piscac) Viktora.  On May 23, 1939 she was united in marriage to Clifford W. Chrz.  He preceded her in death on June 20, 1983. 
Josephine was a homemaker and she only had one hobby:  cleaning house.  She also enjoyed dining out.
Survivors include a daughter, Darlene (Clarence) Henderson, Austin; a son, Gene Chrz, Prior Lake, Minn.; six grandchildren: Craig Wasko, Randy Wasko, Mike Wasko, Jill Culver, Michelle Kramer, Tom Chrz; seven great-grandchildren: Jenny, Megan, Kyle, John, Nathan, Nicholas and Joanna; one great-great-granddaughter, Camille; a brother, Wesley Viktora, Austin; a sister, Agnes Zahradnik, Austin.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her sister, Margaret; and two brothers, Frank and Jerry Viktora.
A funeral mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at Queen of Angels Catholic Church with Father Dale Tupper officiating.  There will be a 4 p.m. CCW rosary on Monday at Mayer Funeral Home where friends may call from 4-6 p.m. and also one hour before the service at the church on Tuesday. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
The honorary casket bearers will be Jill Culver and Michelle Kramer.  The casket bearers will be Craig Wasko, Randy Wasko, Mike Wasko, Tom Chrz, Kyle Wasko and Matt Daniels.
