David T. Thompson, 65
David T. Thompson, 65, of Fridley, formerly of Austin, died on May 28, 2009 at Unity Hospital in Fridley.
David Theodore Thompson was born Aug. 3, 1943 in Austin, to Lewis O. and Margaret E. (Jacobson) Thompson. Following graduation from Austin High School he worked in Iowa and Minnesota, most recently as an instructor at NEI College of Technology for many years. He enjoyed hunting, reading, and had a love of boats.
He is survived by sister, Barbara DeRousse, Austin; brother, Douglas Thompson, Fridley, brother-in-law, LeMoyne Kraushaar; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Mona, Iowa with the Reverend Lydia Mittag officiating. Worlein Funeral Home of Austin is in charge of arrangements.
