Blue Sox rack up 17 hits in win over New Ulm

The Blue Sox powered past New Ulm 9-1 on the road Tuesday night.

Austin (13-1 overall) scored four runs in the eighth to put it away and it had 17 hits on the night.

Brian Voigt picked up the win on the mound as he went seven strong innings and Dan Swift had a big two-run double in the second inning.

Austin will host the Rochester Royals Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at Marcusen Park.
