Arnold “Arnie” Walter Wolff, 65
Arnold “Arnie” Walter Wolff, 65, of Austin, died on June 8, 2009, at Austin Medical Center. 
He was born Nov. 13, 1943, in Austin, the son of Walter and Margaret (Wood) Wolff. He attended school in Austin, graduating from Austin High School in 1961. Following graduation, Arnold joined the United States Army, serving from March 26, 1963 until his discharge on Feb. 28, 1969. After his discharge, Arnold moved to Minneapolis, where he worked various jobs. He returned to Austin to care for his mother and operate the Wolff Construction Co. On May 10, 1997, he married Linda (Wencl) Boe in Austin. He retired in January 2005 due to ill health caused by COPD. 
He was a member of Faith Evangelical Free Church and lived his life serving the Lord. He loved to work on old cars and collected them, often using them as an opportunity to witness to others. Among the collection was a 1922 Model T, which Arnie loved to drive in parades and around town. He collected model trains to enjoy with his 10 grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Wolff, Austin; brother, Roger Wolff, Houston, Texas; two sons, Chadwick (Lori) Wolff, Garland, Texas and Corey (Heidi) Wolff, Zimmerman, Minn.; four daughters, Katie (Doug) Dawson, Richfield, Minn., Karla Boe, Kris Boe and Kari (Matt) Swigerd all of Austin; 10 grandchildren, Jonah and Mark Wolff, Codey and Cole Wolff, Alyssa and Ashley Boe, Johanna and Calleigh Geannakouri and Zachary and Abigail Swigerd; many other relatives and friends. 
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister-in-law, Mary Wolff and two brothers-in-law, Jerry Wencl and Gary Wencl.  
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, June 15, 2009 at Faith Evangelical Free Church with the Reverend Pat Wester and the Reverend Hilmore Williams officiating. Military honors by American Legion Post 91 will follow the service. Interment will be at a later date at Grandview Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., Sunday, June 14, at the Worlein Funeral Home and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.
