ALL HERALD SOFTBALL TEAM

First base: Robin Arjes, Austin

The junior slugger had two homers and six doubles with 20 RBIs while hitting .361 for the Packers.

Second base: Emily Rysavy, Lyle/Pacelli

Rysavy, a senior, hit .517 and had an on-base percentage of .667 for the Athletics (4-15 overall) this season. She had 30 hits, 12 stolen bases, scored 20 runs, and had seven RBIs.

Shortstop: Resha Koster, Blooming Prairie

The senior hit .510 and had an on-base percentage of .570 for the Awesome Blossoms (19-7 overall). She added four doubles, two triples, a homer, 25 runs and 22 RBIs, with 19 stolen bases. But perhaps her most impressive stat, Koster struck out just two times all season long.

Third base: Sam Stephens, Hayfield

The senior infielder hit .380 with an on-base percentage of .436 for the Vikings (6-16 overall). She scored 14 runs, while getting nine doubles, one triple, two homers, and 13 RBIs.

Catcher Brandi Ruroden, Austin

The defensive minded junior hit .280 with a .345 on-base percentage while getting five RBIs for the Packers (7-15 overall).

Left fielder: Sara Sundberg, Austin

Sundberg, a junior, hit .515 with an on-base percentage of .560 while getting six doubles and 14 RBIs, and scoring 15 runs.

Center fielder: Schyler Douglas, Lyle/Pacelli

Douglas, a senior, hit .453 for L/P with an on-base percentage of .543. She knocked in 10 runs with one double and had zero errors in the field.

Right fielder, Rachel Donovan, Austin

Donovan, a junior, hit .245 with an on-base percentage of .339, while getting two doubles, scoring seven runs, and knocking in four runs.

Pitcher: Erica Manske, Blooming Prairie

The sophomore pitcher had a 1.83 ERA while striking out 154 in 127.6 innings of work. She allowed 91 hits and 62 walks with just five wild pitches all season.

HONORABLE MENTION

Catcher: Haley Meyer, Lyle/Pacelli

Meyer, a junior, was a defensive force for the Athletics as she had 99 putouts and just two errors. Offensively, she hit just .190, but had an on-base percentage of .438 with 6 RBIs and 10 runs scored.

Pitcher: Laura Wagner, Hayfield

The senior hurler posted a record of 6-15, but maintained an ERA of 4.27 while striking out 79 in 146 innings. She also hit .338 with eight doubles and 12 RBIs.
