The Hayfield baseball team came out swinging in a 14-3 win at Rochester Lourdes Thursday.

The Vikings (9-6 overall) scored 10 times in the fifth inning to instigate the 10-run rule and end the contest. Hayfield hit three homers win, as Paul Blanchard belted two over the fence.

“We just exploded in the fifth,” Hayfield head coach Craig Selk said.
