An encore performance by the Rooftop Band will reprise the last performance by The Beatles 40 years ago.

The Rooftop Band will perform at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Lighthouse Event Center, Albert Lea.

Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door.

The Beatles last performed together on Jan. 30, 1969, atop a building in downtown London for a midday crowd.

Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr never performed as a group again.

Area musicians have recreated the “Fab Four” for the weekend concerts.

Darryl Amundson, Jamie Kyllo, Merle Krause, Peter Jacobs, Brandon Krause, Jeff Hanson and Sam Hastings will bring The Beatles back to life in song.

Tickets are available at Coffeehouse on Main in Austin and Tone Music in Albert Lea.

The Lighthouse Event Center is located at 638 Marshall St., Albert Lea.
