Working Minnesotans already pay enough in taxes. As someone who appreciates a beer after work, paying twice as much in sales tax on each drink seems outrageous. This essentially punishes restaurants, bars, liquor stores and me. I hope that everyday, average Minnesotans stand up and tell their legislators that when a tax becomes a punishment, it is wrong for our state.
