The 2009 Community Baccalaureate will be held on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Historic Paramount Theatre. This will be the 14th annual Community Baccalaureate, which is sponsored by area churches through the Mower County Ministerial Association and the donations of individuals. The service has been planned with the assistance of graduating seniors and area youth pastors and ministers.

The seniors chose “Leap of Faith” as the theme. Randy Reed, a motivator for youth and people of all ages, will be the guest speaker. Reed is encouraging, funny and passionate about providing inspiration for daily living.

Graduating seniors and others will lead the congregation with the music and prayer. John Deyo of Videyo Arts and graduating seniors have created a testimonial video based on the evening’s theme.

All Austin area high school graduating seniors are invited to participate. Graduating seniors should arrive at the Paramount at 6:30 p.m. with cap and gown.
