The Austin boys golf team came out on top at the Eden Prairie Invite after winning a three-way tiebreaker.

The Packers, Anoka, and Lakeville North all tied with a score of 312. But the tiebreaker came down to the fifth scorer for all three teams and Austin’s Drake Brehmer out-shot Anoka’s fifth scorer by one stroke. Brehmer had an 81.

“It goes to show if you’re having a rough day you could end up being the tie-breaker,” Austin head coach Will Pazurek said. “So you’ve got to keep plugging away.”
