A couple of members of the Cedar River Country Club in Adams are having an impact on the Upper Iowa Men’s golf team, which is playing in the NCAA Division II Central/West Regional in Lincoln, Neb.

Bryan Peck, who is from Grand Meadow, and John Anderson, who is from Blaine but has grandparents from Austin, are each part of the team.

Peck shot a 76 in the opening round and Anderson shot an 84.

Upper Iowa was tied for ninth after the first round.
