The Vikings (2-0 overall, 2-0 HVL) got a big boost from the middle of their order in a 12-2 home win over Stewartville in a baseball game Thursday.

Hayfield’s Travis Kauffman and Even Bungum combined for 11 RBIs in the five-inning victory.

“They were kind of a wrecking ball for us tonight,” Hayfield head coach Craig Selk said.
