Sue Roberts, 71
Sue Roberts, 71, of Elkton, died April 26, 2009, at her home. 
She was born May 24, 1937 to Frank and Lucille (Hull) Fowler in Owatonna, Minn. She married Robert Roberts on Aug. 22, 1959 in Owatonna. Mrs. Roberts taught school for 29 years at Southland and Lyle, influencing many elementary students. A member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Austin, she was a volunteer for American Red Cross, enjoyed extensive travel with Elder hostels, playing cards and doing needlepoint. She was also a Twins baseball fan.
Survivors include her husband, Robert, Elkton; three daughters, Jane Roberts, Memphis, Tenn., Sara (Brad) Kluck, Rochester, Nancy Roberts, Austin; son, David Roberts, Lakeville; two grandchildren, Jason and Thomas Kluck; brother, John Fowler, Atlanta, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Austin with the Reverend Michael Olmsted officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church. Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin is in charge of arrangements. Interment is at Oakwood Cemetery. The family prefers memorials to Mower County Red Cross and Mower County Humane Society.
