Mary Bea Hill, age 54, of Austin, died Saturday, April 18, 2009, at Austin Medical Center.
Mary was born March 1, 1955, in Austin to Edward and Harriett (Tostenson) Vilt. On Jan. 26, 2005, she was united in marriage to Peter Hill at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. Mary was a nurse and a historian.  She loved spending time with her family and storm spotting with Peter.
Survivors include her husband, Peter Hill, Austin; son, Mike (Erin) Holgate, Woodbury; daughter, Melissa Holgate and fiance Jamison Wessels, Granada; two grandchildren; two brothers, Edward (Linda) Vilt, Austin, and Michael Vilt, Santa Clara, Calif.; and mother-in-law, Edna Hill, Austin.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial services will be held 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday at First United Methodist Church in Austin with the Rev. Dennis Tamke officiating.  Friends may call one hour before the service at the church. Interment will be in the Bohemian National Cemetery.
