Mark P. Elliott, 40
Mark Phillip Elliott of Winchester, Va., died on April 5, 2009 in his home. 
Mark was born on Sept. 22, 1968 in Davenport, Iowa. He is the son of Wes and Nan Elliott. He joined the Navy shortly after high school. He was injured during training to be a corpsman for the Marine Corps at Camp Lejune, S.C. which ended his career early.
Mark is survived by his three children, Connor Elliott, Rougemont, N.C. and Alexandra and Joshua Elliott both of Culpeper, Va.; parents, Wes Elliott, Aberdeen, S.D. and Nan (Grunewald) Elliott, Winchester; maternal grandmother, Marie Grunewald, Austin;  four brothers; 10 nieces and nephews; and four aunts and uncles.
An Irish-style wake will be held at Friendship Fire and Rescue Station in Winchester starting at 7 p.m. on Friday April 10, 2009. A private family memorial service will be held at Hall Funeral Home in Purcellville on Saturday afternoon.
