Etta M. (Burand) Pospichal, 75
Etta Marie (Burand) Pospichal, 75, of Austin, went to be with the Lord on April 18, 2009.
She was born March 2, 1934 to Ralph and Lorraine (Reed) Burand in La Crosse, Wis. After graduation from high school, Etta earned her accounting degree and worked at the College of St. Teresa in Winona. She married Carl Postpichal on Jan. 16, 1953 in Savanna, Ill. They lived in various towns before moving to Winon, Minn. in 1974. Etta became a resident of the Village Co-op in Austin in June, 2008. A devout Christian, she attended Bible studies wherever she lived. Her love for dogs and cats showed in her volunteer work for the humane society. Etta was also an avid reader.
Survivors include one son, Mark (Gloria) Pospichal, Winona; one daughter, Jennifer (Dave Heublein) Pospichal, Lewiston; four grandchildren, Miranda (Joseph Martin) Pospichal, Richard Pospichal, Angela Pospichal-Heublein, Amy Postpichal-Heublein; two great-grandchildren, Bradyn and Savannah Martin; one brother, Donald (Rosemary) Burand, Galesburg, Ill. 
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl and a grandson, Michael.
Private services will be held with family and friends in Austin. Interment will be later in Savanna, Ill. Arrangements were made with Worlein Funeral Home of Austin.
