James H. “Jim” Roberts, Jr. Grand Worthy President of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, will visit Austin Aerie No. 703 April 25. Austin will be hosting the District No. 5 Eagles convention. Roberts joined the Eagles organization in 1964 at Olathe, Kan. Aerie No. 700. He has held all local and state offices, becoming Kansas state president in 1989-90. He then went on to the national level and served as the South Central Regional president and later advanced to the Grand Aerie and held the position of Grand Worthy Chaplain before advancing to Grand Trustee. According to Roberts, “Eagledom means being with friends and raising funds for charities.”

His main interest is membership.
