AHS names Students of Character

Austin High School is proud to announce the third quarter “Students of Character.” The Character Counts program is represented by six pillars: Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, Trustworthiness and Citizenship.
Each week staff nominate students who have demonstrated one or more of the pillars of character both in an outside of school. Students are recognized by staff for demonstrating one or more of the pillars.
This quarter the following students were honored at a luncheon in the Austin High School Library: Brandon Legried, Braun Oldenkamp, Shayden Allen-Bauman, Chad Johnson, Abby Thompson, Domingo Ramirez, Christopher Aker, Megan Evenson, Samantha Kinnear, Scarlett DeWild, Natalie Swan, T.J. Fritz, Amy Pedersen, Rogelio Barrios Ortiz, Leihla Wachlin, Ryley Pineda, Preston Moe, Jon Rice, Yoni Sanchez, Ashley Crump, Michelle Johannsen, Steven Rizzi, Ian Thatcher, Nicholas Smith, Gabe Benedict, Kara Nelson, Nick Phillips, Francisco Carlos, Megan Zastopil and Kevin Sauer.
