Nursing home seminar April 28 at MCSC

A seminar will be held Tuesday, April 28 for those who have loved ones in nursing homes.
Jean Patzner Mueller will be the guest speaker. She is a certified advocate ombudsman.
The Mower County Senior Center, 400 Third Ave. N.E., will host the seminar titled, “How to be a Good Advocate for Your Loved One in a Nursing Home.”
The presenter will discuss nursing home residents’ rights, questions to ask at a resident’s care conference, things and people to observe when visiting a loved one in a nursing home and steps to take if problems or concerns arise.
The free seminar begins at 5:30 p.m.
