This letter is to encourage those citizens of Mower County who are overwhelmed by the taxation burdens placed upon us by our national, state, county and local governments.

Please attend the TEA party on April 15 from noon to 1 on the Mower County Courthouse sidewalks and let those elected to represent us know that people in the area have been “Taxed Enough Already.” If we have to live on a budget, why can’t our government officials do the same?

As of this date, none of our invited elected officials have replied to my request for attendance. Perhaps they as of yet don’t understand our frustrations. Let’s show them we are serious.
