A group of Austin High School students will be performing on Sunday, March 22 at 2 p.m. for the Our Savior’s Concert Series at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 1600 West Oakland Ave. in Austin. This concert will feature AHS students who achieved not only a high superior rating at the recent regional competition, but also, in many cases, were selected as Best-of-Site performers.

That means that in their area of artistry, they were tops amongst their peers in our region.

Among those featured will be a group of six gentlemen called the “CC Sextet” from Concert Choir who are also in cross country together, a group of four Concert Choir girls called “Fermata Nowhere,” singing the music by French composer Gabriel Fauré, with solos by All-State Orchestra performers, Hanna Middlebrook, Kelsey Fleming, Ben Bachmeier, Amanda Mattick, David Koser and many other talented performers. This concert is free and open to the public.
