FIRST TEAM
G — Rachel Rosedahl, LeRoy/Ostrander
The junior point guard ran the show for the Cardinals (13-12 overall) while also providing a big scoring bulk. Rosedahl averaged 13.5 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and three steals per contest.
G — Jordyn Krekling, Hayfield
The junior guard was an all-around threat for the Vikings (21-7 overall), averaging 13.4 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 3.1 steals while shooting 41.9 percent from the field. Krekling’s defense was a big part of why the Vikings allowed just over 38 points per game and allowed opponents to shoot just 34.5 percent from the field.
F — Jessica Benson, Grand Meadow
The senior did it all for the Superlarks (22-5 overall). She averaged 24.6 points, 11.7 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 4.3 steals, and 1.7 blocks, while shooting 49 percent from the field and 80 percent from the free throw line. She also surpassed the 2000-point mark for her career and became GM’s all-time leading scorer, surpassing her aunt Slone (Benson) Seuss.
F — Tina Vorphal, Austin
The senior forward played as much from the perimeter this season as she did from the paint and she took advantage of that by hitting 32.7 percent of her threes. Vorphal averaged 14.1 points, six rebounds, 1.9 assists and 2.6 steals for the Packers (17-8 overall).
C — Kiley Severson, Hayfield
The junior center was a focal point of Hayfield’s offense and when she was scoring consistently, the Viking were usually winning. Severson averaged 14 points, 9.5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2.3 steals, while hitting 56 percent of her field goals.
SECOND TEAM
G — Bailey Gomer, Grand Meadow
The senior point guard was a solid compliment to Jessica Benson. She averaged 9.8 points, 3.2 assists, and 2.1 steals.
G — Lynnae Nelson, Blooming Prairie
While carrying the defensive load for BP (20-6 overall), the senior also controlled the ball with a 2.24 assist to turnover ratio. Nelson averaged 8.5 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.5 steals for BP.
F — Kassie Lueth, Blooming Prairie
While her numbers (8.1 points and 5.4 rebounds per game) aren’t spectacular, the senior forward improved every game and was a strong inside threat in BP’s last game of the season. Lueth put up 14 points and nine rebounds in a season-ending loss to NRHEG.
F — Krista Viehauser, Austin
A solid scorer and defender, the senior forward was a consistent force for Austin. She averaged 10.6 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.76 steals, and 1.3 assists per game, while shooting 43.6 percent from the field.
C — Rebekah Aase, Austin
Always a big defensive presence for Austin, the senior center also gave the Packers some offense this year, scoring 8.6 points per game to go with her 9.2 rebounds, 2.1 blocks, 2.6 steals, and 1.6 assists per contest.
