An Austin man was airlifted to Rochester Wednesday following an assault at The Ville bar in downtown Austin around 5:52 p.m.

According to Austin police reports, Randall Damon, 69, suffered a possible broken neck, broken ribs on the right side, punctured right lung, facial fractures and received stitches to cuts on his forehead and right ear after he was assaulted in the bathroom of The Ville.

A 29-year-old male suspect was later arrested in his home without incident.

No other information was released. The case is still under investigation.
