Camp Olson YMCA invites you and your family to experience camp this summer. Join Camp Olson staff for an evening of information and fun at the YMCA of Austin on Friday, Feb. 27 from 5 to 7 p.m.
Camp Olson is a residential YMCA summer camp located in north central Minnesota The camp began operating in 1954 and has beer serving youth and families from the greater Austin community for 55 years. Camp Olson’s mission is to Share the spirit of the North Woods with youth, families and their leaders through YMCA programs that build healthy mind, body and spirit for all. In all of its programs Camp Olson promotes values that are critical to the healthy development of youth: honesty, respect, responsibility and caring.
Camp Olson has 1,250 acres of forests, lakes and fields and the main camp is situated along the shores of Little Boy Lake. Facilities include the camp’s historic dining hall, a new health center and bathhouse, nature center and 20 cabins.
