LeRoy/Ostrander senior guard Michael Knight poured in a career-high 45 points in an 82-52 win for the Cardinals over Cannon Valley Lutheran in LeRoy Thursday.

Knight scored 38 points in the game’s first 17 minutes to pace L/O (9-9 overall) to a 63-28 lead at the half. Knight hit eight of 15 treys on the night.

“He was just in a zone and we kept feeding him the ball,” L/O head coach Jason Herber said. “It was a special night to see someone go off like that.”

Josh Rowe added 20 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists for L/O, Dylan Mackey had 13 points and 11 rebounds, and Mitch Scaglione scored four points.

Nik Coon scored 22 points for CVL (3-15 overall) and Matt Saemrow chipped in 20.
