Jayne Bautista

Jayne Anne Bautista passed away on Jan. 24, 2009 in San Jose, Calif.
Jayne was born in Austin on March 3, 1941 to William and Eliza (Maston) Exelby. Jayne graduated from Austin High School in June 1959. She attended Foothill Junior College in Cupertino, Calif., where she received an A.A. degree. In August 1959 she married John Cerny. Jayne and John moved to San Jose after their marriage. In 1971 Jayne and John were divorced. In 1981 Jayne married Jose F. Bautista. Jayne worked for Lockheed Missiles and Space Company for 35 years. Jayne holds the distinction of being promoted the first female press operator at Lockheed Missiles and Space Company.
Jayne was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jose Bautista.
She is survived by her three children, Doris Cerny, Anchorage, Alaska, Diana (Rick) Webb, John Cerny and Mai Hoang, San Jose, Calif.; two sisters, Lucy (Ron) Johansen, Waconia, Minn. and Kathleen (Steve) Cerny, Reno, Nev.; two grandchildren, JoLynda Gonzales and John Cerny, San Jose, Calif.; Uncle Walt and Aunt Alice Tomhave, Austin; nieces, newphews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009 at Oak Hill Cemetery in San Jose.
