Dorothy M. Jasper, 81, of Adams died on Feb. 7, 2009 at the Adams Health Care Center.
She was born Feb. 11, 1927 in Waverly, Iowa to Nicholas and Caroline (Loecher) Jasper. Dorothy attended school in Adams, worked at the Adams Health Care Center and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed embroidering and playing cards.
Dorothy is survived by her sisters, Mildred (George) Betts, Osage, Iowa, Angie (Jim) Hart, Dover, Minn., nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2009 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father James Seitz officiating. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Adams Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday for one hour before the service. There will be a prayer service at 7 p.m. on Tuesday to conclude the visitation. The organist will be Darlene Boe. Casket Bearers will be Robert Hart, Clint Jasper, Paul Betts, Mike Betts, Chuck Kiefer and Dan Kassel.
