Catherine Quale, 80
Catherine Quale, 80, of Adams died on Feb. 7, 2009 at her home.
She was born Oct. 16, 1928 in Adams, Minn. to Issac and Emma (Meurer) Brewer.
Catherine graduated from Adams High School in 1946. On Sept. 10, 1950 Catherine married Kermit Quale. Catherine was a bookkeeper first for Sacred Heart Catholic Church and later for Northern Country Coop, where she worked for almost 40 years. In her spare time, Catherine enjoyed: watching birds, shopping, crocheting, playing cards, especially Solitaire, cooking and baking. Catherine was known for never letting anyone leave her house hungry. Catherine particularly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Catherine is survived by her son, Charles (Carolyn) Quale, Adams, Minn.; son-in-law, Paul Brandt, Hayward, Minn.; grandchildren, Ryan Brandt (Jessica Hanson), Timothy (Jennifer) Brandt, Katie Brandt, and Christopher Quale; great-grandchild, Marcus Brandt; sisters, Florence (Lawrence) Goergen, Osage, Iowa and Elizabeth “Betty Ann” Overland, Eagan, Minn., nieces and nephews.
Catherine was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kermit; daughter, Linda Brandt; son, James; sister, Veronica Asper and Genevieve Brewer and two infant brothers.
 A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 12, 2009 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father James Seitz officiating. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Adams. A Prayer Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Adams Funeral Home where friends may call from 4: to 8 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
