Austin Coalition for Environmental Sustainability (ACES) held a Green Book Fair at the 2008 Refest exposition held at Riverland Community College.

Books of many titles were available and younger children were eligible to enter names for a environmental book drawing, according to Terry Dorsey, ACES publicity chairperson.

Children entered their names for an environmental-themed book.

“ACES was pleased by the turnout at the book fair and is pleased to announce the presentations to children whose names were drawn at the Green Book Fair,” Dorsey said.

The winners included: Madison Chance, Woodson Kindergarten Center; Annika Leif, Queen of Angels Preschool; Blake Petrik, Woodson Kindergarten Center; Erica Brady, Bonner Elementary School, Stewartville; Carter Swanson, Maple River West Elementary School, Garden City; and McKensie Winsor, Hawthorne Elementary School, Albert Lea.

According to Dorsey, books were presented to the school libraries and certificates of presentation given to the children.
