Learn to cook like a pro through Community Ed

Love to cook, or want to know how? Austin Community Education is hosting several upcoming classes.
On Monday, Feb. 2, Jane Arhart will teach “Casserolahotdish” from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Austin High School, room 1100. Create a yummy meal using leftovers or whip up an old-time favorite. The cost is $15.
Selene Schulz will host “Let’s Pig Out” on Monday, Feb. 9 at AHS, room 1100. Learn how to use pork in delicious meals as both a side dish or main course. The cost is $15.
On Wednesday, Feb. 18, Jen Haugen, RD, LD, and Chef Michael Coffman will host “Seafood Cooking Class” from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Hy-Vee. Learn how to cook heart-healthy seafood and sample the results. The cost is $10.
