The Houston boys basketball team beat Grand Meadow 58-41 Friday in GM.

Andy Sires poured in 26 for the Hurricanes, and Mike Gehling had 12 points, 12 rebounds and three steals for GM (0-3 overall).

“We just couldn’t stop Sires tonight,” GM head coach Chad Burmester said. “I thought our guys did a nice job of forcing him to earn his points but he’s tough to defend with his size and shooting ability.”
