Carrie M. “Carol” Salisbury Tindal, 77
Carrie May “Carol” Salisbury Tindal, 77, of Brownsdale, died on Dec. 10, 2008 at Field Crest Care Center in Hayfield.
Carrie was born Sept. 30, 1931 to John and Mary (Pace) McGraw in Austin. She attended school in Austin. In January 1948 she was united in marriage to Vergil Wibben and they had six children. They divorced in 1975. Carrie married Gene Tindal on July 5, 1980. They lived in Madison, Wis. until 1996 when they retired and moved to Brownsdale, where they currently resided.  Carrie was a homemaker.
Carrie loved her husband, Gene; her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-granddaughter, Jada; her brother Bill and her sisters Nora and Kathy. She loved crossword puzzles, jig saw puzzles and things that challenged her mind. She also loved music. Her favorite music was hymns and she loved singing them with her church family. She had complete trust in her Lord and Savior Jesus and testified to His love for her and all that believe in Him. Her friends were very special to her and she enjoyed being with them. She prayed for all that needed healing and for our troops and for wars everywhere to end soon. She collected music boxes, puzzles, and 3-D puzzles. She loved to read. She was always willing to help those in need whenever she could. She will be greatly missed by her family and adopted family and all that knew her. Blessed be her memory.
