Cards surge in the second half against Hope Lutheran

The Cardinals used a strong second half to get past Hope Lutheran 64-36 in LeRoy Friday night in a boys basketball game.
LeRoy/Ostrander (2-1 overall, 2-0 SEC) stepped up their defense by holding Hope Luetheran to 13 second half points, and limiting their 6-foot-6-inch post player Eeric Anderson to six points on the night.
L/O got five three-pointers from Kirk Nelson, who scored a career high 15 points.
