Tools stolen in Lyle

LYLE — The Mower County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of $11,000 worth of tools.
According to a Mower County Sheriff’s Office report, the theft was discovered Monday from a shed at a rural site north of Lyle.
The thieves apparently gained entrance to the locked shed by breaking a window.
Taken in the burglary was an assortment of Sears Craftsman tools.
The victim was identified as Darwin Small, rural Lyle.
Anyone seeing suspicious vehicles or activities around the site is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office (437-9400).
