Hormel Foods Corporation has been a long-time supporter of American veterans.

According to Hecimovich, “Starting with Desert Storm the company implemented a military bonus program for their employees who were called to duty and once again implemented the program for the Iraqi Freedom and Afghanistan wars.”

The program provides a bonus equivalent to a week of full pay for each month the employee is called to duty.

Ettinger said the program is designed to provide additional support for the company’s employees and their families during service to their country.

“Since 2003 the company has issued in excess of $450,000 in military bonus payments to our employees called to service,” Ettinger said.

“We are proud of all men and women who chose to serve our country in the military and pleased to be able to provide this support to our employees and their families.”
