David Reisinger, 75
David Reisinger, 75, formerly of Austin passed away on Sept. 12, 2008 in Macon, Ga. after a lengthy illness.
David was born on June 22, 1933 to Louise and Dan Reisinger in Austin. He graduated from Austin High School in 1951. He graduated from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa with a degree in animal science. He retired from Hormel Foods Company management after 35 years of service.
Dave, and family, established a forest and wildlife preserve at their home in Corning, Iowa before moving to Georgia.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; daughters, Kim (Jim) Bashor, Ancortes, Wash., Susan (Ben) Smith, Macon, Ga., Traci Reisinger, Warner Robins, Ga.; seven grandchildren; sister, Connie (Richard) Johnson, Austin; brothers-in-law, Richard (Sunni) Dyrland, Portland, Ore., Byron (Linda) Dyrland, Blackduck, Minn.
