The tip was forwarded to the St. Paul Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, which discovered about 100 images of child porn in the photobucket.com account.

On Oct. 3, 2006, a detective with the Austin Police Department was contacted to help with the investigation.

A search warrant was executed Nov. 6, 2006 at the defendant’s mother’s residence in Austin, where a computer, floppy disks and CD-ROMs were seized. The woman told law enforcement she believed the defendant had been viewing the images and videos seized in the search.

In a plea agreement, Anderson pleaded guilty to the first count; a second count, felony possessing pornographic work, was dismissed.
