W/E/M sweeps Blooming Prairie

Waterville/Elysian/Morristown (10-5-3 overall) swept Blooming Prairie 25-21, 25-21, 25-22 in a volleyball match Thursday in Waterville.
“We played pretty well, but they played better on defense than us,” BP head coach Gina McLaughlin said. “We hit the ball well, but they put up a good wall on Marie (Morem) and they made some nice digs.”
Morem had nine kills, five digs, and one ace for BP (11-8 overall, 2-3 Gopher), Resha Koster had five digs and two blocks, Kassie Lueth had six kills and five digs, Emily Harber had five kills, four digs and one ace block, and Lynnae Nelson had four kills, seven digs and one ace.
