Students once again filled the halls of Ellis Middle School and the rest of Austin School District 492 for the first day of the 2008-09 school year.

The excitement was high for both students and teachers as students caught up with friends they hadn’t seen over the summer and teachers began to get to work on the curriculum they had worked up over the summer.
