Packer boys soccer team cruises

The Austin boys soccer team won in Fairmont by a score of 5-1 Monday.
The Packers (5-2-2 overall) got two goals in the first 15 minutes from Martin Manocchio and Alex Klock to take the early lead.
Manocchio knocked a shot off a Fairmont defender to make it 3-0 at halftime and he also scored a goal in the second half.
Mortiz Doering scored on a second half penalty kick for Austin.
“We controlled the play and we made the passes,” Austin head coach Jens Levisen said.
The Packers attempted 27 shots, while keeper Ryan Rasell had four saves.
Austin hosts Albert Lea Tuesday at 7 p.m.
“It should be a good one,” Levisen said.
