Octoberfest 2008 will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3 inside Torge’s Live in Austin.

Sample microbrews, imports and specialty beers from around the world.

Live music will be provided by acoustic guitarist Ben Olson and the polka band Ben and the Brians.

Proceeds benefit the Austin Jaycees.

Tickets are $10 and available at the door, from any Jaycee member or at Apollo Liquor. Free Octoberfest glass provided with ticket.

Stick round after samples run out for keg beer specials.
