A passing motorist observed a mobile home and shed on fire Saturday night and called 9-1-1.

According to a Mower County Sheriff’s Office report, the fire was reported near 9:07 p.m. Saturday at 2107 21st Street Southeast. When Austin Fire Department firefighters arrived at the scene, the structures were engulfed in flames, according to the report. The mobile home was unoccupied.

No damage estimate was available. The State Fire Marshall was requested to investigate the cause of the blaze.
