LeRoy/Ostrander’s volleyball team (4-1 overall) beat Houston in four games in LeRoy Thursday by scores of 24-26, 26-24, 25-19, 25-23.

“Houston has improved a lot on their hitting and blocking. They are also very scrappy and it was hard to get anything to hit the floor,” L/O volleyball coach Lisa Swenson said. ”We were still struggling with our line up and had a hard time putting much together until the third game we started playing better volleyball. We really need to clean up our play and we will be fine.”

Kaylee Bunne had 17 kills for the Cardinals, Krista Bunne had 12 kills, Toni Blood had 11 kills, McKinzie Bunne had 43 assists, Mary Scaglione had 16 digs, and Kylie Grant had 11 digs.

Meredith Lee had 14 kills for Houston and Astri Runningen had nine kills and five blocks.
