AHS science lab open house Oct. 4

Austin High School will host a ribbon-cutting and open house for its newly renovated science labs at 1:15 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4 in the AHS Commons.

Made possible by a donation from the Hormel Foundation, the state-of-the-art labs will be open for tours, and donors and dignitaries will speak, including: Richard Knowlton, Hormel Foundation chairman; Alice Seagren, Minnesota Commissioner of Education; an Austin High School science student; and Austin High School Science Department Chair, Mark Raymond.

Refreshments will be served. This event is open to the public.
