The Open Photography Exhibit in the Austin Area Art Center, Oak Park Mall, will feature area photographers age 16 and older.

The exhibit will open Wednesday, Sept. 3, and will end Sunday, Sept. 28.

Submissions will be taken Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 30 and 31, from noon to 4 p.m.

This non-competitive exhibit promises to showcase a variety of talents, subjects and techniques.

Austin Area Art Center will hold a reception in honor of exhibiting photographers from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7. There will be no sales tax on purchases, and refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public.
