About $1,000 in goods and cash were stolen from a rural Austin body shop between Wednesday and Thursday, according to Mower County Sheriff Terese Amazi, who said suspects took a computer, car keys and about $200 in cash.
Amazi said the individuals likely entered North Star Body Shop, 25446 Highway 218, through a small office window between 6 p.m. Wednesday and 7:30 a.m. Thursday.
She said the screen of the window was cut and the window pane pushed open.
Items stolen include a Dell computer, a set of Mercedes Benz keys and cash. Amazi said suspects also took two small compact disc stereos, which were found outside the structure.
No arrests have been made.
