After months of waiting, the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Austin finally opened its doors to waiting customers Wednesday morning.

Shoppers and dignitaries from both Austin and Wal-Mart were on hand for a grand opening ceremony that introduced Wal-Mart to the city of Austin and featured an official ribbon-cutting with the Chamber Ambassadors and store manager Lee Kruse.
